About the IPC-2581 Validation Tool
The IPC-2581 Validation Tool is provided by the IPC-2581 Consortium to help users verify that their IPC-2581 files conform to the XML schema (XSD) for a specific revision of the IPC-2581 standard. It is intended for use by anyone creating, exchanging, or validating IPC-2581 design data.
To validate a file, you must provide the corresponding IPC-2581 schema (.xsd) for the revision being checked. The official schema files can be downloaded from:

The IPC-2581 Consortium grants users a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this Validation Tool for validating their own IPC-2581 files.
This tool may not be incorporated into commercial products or services, nor used to provide fee-based validation or other revenue-generating services, without prior written permission from the IPC-2581 Consortium.
