I, Dave Cartwright, work as a PCB designer at Ultrasound Design Limited – UK. I feel strongly that the IPC-2581 standard will benefit the whole PCB design and supply chain industry & we should have had it years ago. I support the IPC-2581 standard and encourage others (including companies) to do the same. This is my personal opinion & not that of my employer.
